It will help to look slimmer, especially if you choose a dress with a low neckline.
Dresses over the size of a short length also makes you feel and look elegant. A strapless dress will accentuate your neck and chest while taking the attention away from your waistline. This neckline will make your face and neck look long and thin. If you are not completely comfortable with a strapless dress, choose one with straps or wear a scarf you can wrap around their shoulders. The empire waist is a perfect choice as it will help lengthen your figure to give the appearance that is higher. This in turn helps you look slimmer.
Whatever type of body shape you have, you should never buy a party dress that looks as if it is too small for you. A style is easy to become in a color that suits your skin type and hair color. An asymmetrical hem with a short dress will also help you look tall and thin.
